February 14-Knox Metropolitan United Church

Built in 1905, the Knox-Met (as it is known in Regina) has been a gathering place for the faithful for over 100 years. It was severely damaged in the 1912 tornado, but was repaired quickly afterwards.

Each Christmas, their choir holds a concert featuring holiday carols which is a delight to both the ears and eyes due to the church's acoustics and the decorating committee's efforts.

To learn more about the history of the Knox Metropolitan United Church, go to the Regina Public Library's site. To learn what the church is doing today, go to the Knox-Met website.

  1. It looks like a very solid church. I hope that's a reflection of the congregation and their faith.
